The registration number is 179/98-99 on 07/10/1998 and the Registered Office at Address: No. 32-34, Shalom Springdale Layout, Kyalasanahalli, near SAIACS, Bengaluru, 560077.
This Terms and Conditions of Service (“Agreement”) between UIM and visitors/users/registered members of the website www.urbanindia.org. (“You”) describes the terms on which UIM offers you the Services (as defined below) through the website. The use of this website is governed by the terms and conditions under this agreement. Before using this website, you must carefully read, understand, accept and agree to abide by all the terms and conditions under this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions under the Agreement, please do not use the website.
Through our websites, mobile apps and other digital tools, we offer a wide variety of services that are intended to help you find practical resources that will help to strengthen your marriage and family. Some of the websites we own and operate include, but are not limited to the following: urbanindia.org, homeshanti.org. The services provided by UIM (Urban India Ministries) are as follows:

- Write comments, post or upload certain content.
- Interact on our social media pages and other forums.
- Access our resources through suggested contributions.
- 1.1 Payment Gateway: If you are making Donations/Contribution towards the services through the payment gateway, you understand that the payment gateway is provided by a third party and governed by the terms and conditions provided by such third party. You are liable in the event you violate any of the terms and conditions of such a third party in making your donations/contributions to services . UIM shall not be responsible for any such errors or default in making your donations/contributions.
- 1.2 UIM is responsible for the cause to which you have contributed. UIM shall make every effort to ensure that the Contribution is utilized for the purpose which is specified in the description and will be acknowledged appropriately.
- 1.3 Contributions/donations received are not tax exempted as 80G is not applicable.
- 2.1 Any queries related to the refund of contributions should be emailed to finance@urbanindia.org with the specific reason for seeking a refund and bank account details.
- 2.2 Requests for refund of contributions towards participation in events / workshops should be made at least 5 days prior to the scheduled date of the event.
- 2.3 Decision on the refund request will be approved by the authorized representative of UIM
- 2.4 Refund will be processed within 7 working days
- 2.5 Refunds will be made only to the bank account from which the contribution was made.
- 2.6 No refund will be given for any amount which is equal to or less than Rs. 500/- in case the registered participant is not able to attend the event.
- 2.7 There will be a deduction of 10% from the paid amount towards administrative charges.
- 2.8 The refund amount will be sent only to the bank account mentioned in the refund request.
- 2.9 Full refund will be given if the event is cancelled by the organizers (UIM)
- 2.10 No refund is applicable if the request is sent after the event.
- 3.1 Services or Trainings. You shall comply with all applicable laws, regulations and rules and undertake not to use UIM (Urban India Ministries) Services or Trainings for any unlawful purpose or in a manner which is likely to cause harm or offense to any other user, including UIM.
- 3.2 UIM reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone who, in UIM’s opinion, violates this provision, including, without limitation, reporting you to appropriate law enforcement authorities.
- 4.1 You are solely responsible for the content and any material or information that you transmit to other users from this website. UIM will not be liable and does not endorse and has no control over such content.
- 4.2 All trademarks reproduced on this website which are not the property of, or licensed to UIM, are acknowledged on the website.
- 4.3 Through this website, links to other websites are provided for your convenience to provide further information, and they are not under the control of UIM. UIM has no control over the nature, content and availability of those websites.
- 4.4 Our Websites and Services are not directed at children under the age of 13. If you are under the age of 13, you shall not use our websites or services without parental consent and supervision.

UIM (Urban India Ministries) aspires to be a dynamic website by adding new features and content regularly for the benefit of visitors. For this purpose, our website may be temporarily shut down for updating work. However, UIM will put its best efforts to minimize the inconvenience caused due to non-availability of the website.
By accepting these Terms, you agree to indemnify and otherwise hold harmless UIM (Urban India Ministries), its officers, employees, affiliates and other partners from any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages resulting from the use of the UIM Services by you or by those who have access to the service through your account.

These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India and subject to the terms and conditions of UIM (Urban India Ministries).
