Lenten Meditation Podcasts
A word from the authorJesus wanted his disciples to remain in him and he promised, he would remain with us (John 15:4). The joy of being with him can only be understood when he begins to dwell in us. Saints of God have always longed for that experience. Psalmist David through his psalms has expressed deeply his longing for God. This longing is reflected in his words “As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul longs for you, O God.”, or “I wait for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning.”. This deep longing for the Saviour, is only a reciprocation of the deep longing the Saviour has for his children. However, in the business of our lives, though one desires to spend time with the Lord, the priorities of the world take precedents over our time with God. This meditation can help us to realise that “Being with Him” is not just a fixed time of prayer, but a lifestyle to pursue. As these meditations have enabled me to reflect on the depth of my relationship with the Lord, I hope it would help you as well.
