About the Founders
Dr. P. C. Mathew and his wife Mrs. Ciby Mathew have been actively mentoring and ministering to families across India for over three decades. They are the Co-Founders and National Executive Directors of Urban India Ministries (UIM)—a faith-based organization with a clear mission to transform cities one home at a time.
Dr. P. C. Mathew
Dr. Mathew holds a B.Sc. in Physics from Madras Christian College. After a brief stint in the IT industry, he responded to God’s call in 1992 and entered full-time ministry. He earned his Bachelor of Divinity (B.D.) from Union Biblical Seminary, Pune, and later received a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) from Asbury Theological Seminary, Kentucky, USA.
Mrs. Ciby Mathew
Ciby holds a B.Sc. (PCM) from Jyothi Nivas College and a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration from St. Joseph’s College, Bangalore. She completed her B.D. at United Biblical Seminary and later received an M.Sc. in Psychology from the University of Madras.
As pioneers of family ministry in India, Dr. P. C. and Mrs. Ciby Mathew have led marriage and family seminars both nationally and internationally. Their message calls Christian families to live missionally and become agents of transformation in their communities.
They currently reside in Bangalore and are the proud parents of three sons.
